After a plethora of features, terabytes upon terabytes of instrumentals, all since 2003 - Kenechukwu Kevin Ezeaniekwe also known as Kevin Xavier [Kay X for short] finally decides to venture out as a proper artist.
Kevin Xavier is an artist who was born and raised in Port Harcourt Nigeria. A native of
Ichida, Anambra State, the 2nd child from a family of five. He grew
up in a world of musical diversity, listening to artists like Michael Jackson,
Kurtis Blow, The Temptations, Diana Ross, Oliver de Coque, Shina Peters,
Bobby Brown, Tim McGraw, Norman Brown,
Patty Obasi etc. His parents being a strong music aficionados, he started
rapping at the age of eleven although he never took it serious or thought to
hone his skills. Inspired and influenced by artists like Swizz Beatz, Dr Dre
& Timbaland, He started composing instrumentals in 2003, a skill which he
is well known for among his circle. Since then he has had a plethora of
production credits, few which are notable. He also has a couple of features
under his belt. He, alongside Ufe Lawson, Timi Kay & Onome Uba formed
TUNEHOUSE in 2011. This time he releases his debut single, NA ME. This is him
knocking open the doors and seeing what the industry has for him.
